Ken McConnell

Originally from Liverpool, Ken is a highly experienced actor who has performed in countless shows over the years, Stage roles range from Shaw to Shakespeare and Pinter to Panto, including the lead role in Shakespeare`s Macbeth for Bitesize theatre, Bottom in A Midsummer Nights dream and Polonius in Hamlet for The Really Short Theatre Co. In 2009 Ken toured the UK with The Rex Roman Pink Floyd Show which played at The Edinburgh festival. A Panto regular with The James Brandon Theatre Co his roles have been as diverse as Mr Wolf in Red Riding hod to an Ugly sister in Cinderella and Abanaazar in Aladdin his performance which The Stage described in 2013 as "The Best Abanaazer in pantoland, this performer is an expert!"

TV credits include Coronation Street, Brookside, Emmerdale, ITV`s Medics, Vincent, and Crimewatch. Ken is also a founder member of The Cheshire Actors Studio, which took the Liz & Dick Show by Dhannil Ali to Edinburgh in 2013 and later (2015) on a national tour where Ken`s performance as Richard Burton was critically acclaimed. Ken can be seen in the TV advert for Stanton Fisher.
